Just simple roses today, for the billionth time! I really want to master my rose painting skills so today I tried extra hard to paint leafy looking leaves.
The base colours for these were Barry M Blueberry and Barry M Promenade. Barry M Promenade is such a gorgeous colour! This was the first time I used it and... wow! It's so pretty!
As usual, the details were painted using acrylic paints and detail brushes.
I think my roses could do with still more practice but I think I am improving! I mostly struggle with adding realistic/natural looking leaves because they usually look random and oddly placed.
