Messy Roses

Inspired by a pattern on a skirt, these messy roses are so autumn appropriate! The deep reds and pinks on black look really neat. 

Delicate Blue Roses

I really love painting roses and I enjoy seeing my improvement each time I practice them. This time I chose to use unusual colours as I always use pinks and reds for rose themed manis. I chose a lovely cool blue colour because it is subtle and delicate.

Autumn Flowers

These flowers and leaves in Autumn-ish colours were a bit of an accident. I didn't notice how Autumny they were until I had finished painting them, maybe its the nude base and the red that does it.  

Graduation Nails! Gold and Navy Chevron

I graduated from University today! My university's colour is blue so I went with a blue base with gold chevron to celebrate! The photographer complimented my nails too!

Strawberries

I needed something, bright, cheerful and adorable on my nails. These strawberries did the trick! Fun fruity nails can bring happiness to any gloomy day - I think their brightness might have even improved the miserable weather because this past weekend was quite sunny here!

I would like to say I am ready for Autumn, but Summer is my favourite time of year and this Summer has not been very wonderful for me. Seeing the leaves fall from the trees and the wind and rain battering my window is really not filling me joy, to be honest! But luckily my nail polish addiction is getting me through these tough season changing times. In fact, these pretty colours just might get me through this miserable weather, aren't they lovely?

Futurama

I discovered that I can watch 10 seasons of Futurama on Netflix, so that is what I did last night (whilst I painted my nails, of course!).

Roses

Just simple roses today, for the billionth time! I really want to master my rose painting skills so today I tried extra hard to paint leafy looking leaves.

Turquoise Nautical Nails

This is my third attempt at nautical nails and I am still not confident enough to use more than one colour (besides white). I absolutely adore this colour, though. I think it is my favourite polish right now! In fact, I love these nails altogether because they're so cute, summery and wearable. 

My Neighbour Totoro

Since I got my new nail art brushes I haven't been sure what to paint. I have been overwhelmed by the possibilities. I finally decided on doing characters from a movie on my nails and then I decided to do them from the super cute movie My Neighbor Totoro, therefore, these were inspired by the Studio Ghibli movie My Neighbor Totoro!

Bees and Honeycombs

This time inspiration hit me whilst I was walking down the high street. I noticed that a shop had used honeycomb stickers in the corners of their shop window and the effect was really interesting and I just had to recreate something similar on my nails. 

Adventure Time Jake from the Card Wars Episode

What time is it? Nail art time! I painted Jake on my nails and it took me most of the day!

Ice Cream

The weather in England right now is pretty miserable and it has rained all weekend. My hometown's town center even flooded and I don't remember that ever happening before! 

But my nails still know it's summertime because I painted my favourite summer snack on them!

Robbie the Robot

I used to doodle this robot all the time at school in my homework planner (who needs to remember homework assignments, anyway?). I think I even wrote whole story boards and comics about his adventures. Well, here he is with a flower because Robbie is a friendly robot and wants peace between robots and humans.

The colours used in this are all such pale pastels and the gradient just seamed like how I imagine the sky would look in dreamland. 

Gladiolus

These are gladiolus nails for #nailartaug which I spent a long time looking up images of gladiolus to inspire me. I think it worked out quite well but it was a complete experiment!

Funky Chevrons

I was completely at a loss as to what to name these so 'Funky Chevrons' will have to do!

 I painted my nails this green last night with the intention of painting watermelons but this morning I decided it was the wrong green and therefore I painted a pig and some polkadots!

Cute Nautical Nails

Today I painted some cute nautical themed nails with thick stripes and nautical designs!

Classy Nails for #NailArtAug

I have done so many floral manis but I just can't stop! I love floral designs so much. These are for Californials' August nail art challenge. I think floral designs are also quite classy ;) 

Geometric stripes nails

I did these with striping tape to match a pattern on a bag. My boyfriend said they look like the Scottish flag but that was unintentional! 

The Blue is Barry M Blueberry and the white is ModelsOwn Snow White.
